A 19-year-old homeless man was to appear in District Court this week after being charged with allegedly striking and robbing a 56-year-old man in Makiki earlier this week.

Armani Harlee was charged Tuesday night with second-degree robbery after he allegedly held up a man earlier in the day. Police said the robbery incident occurred just before 4:30 p.m.

The suspect also was arrested on several bench warrants for failing to appear in District Court after being cited for being in a park after it was closed in March.
