Program helps children learn the meaning of Yom Kippur

20150923-7814 REL YOM KIPPUR PHOTO BY DENNIS ODA Yom Kippur, also known as the Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the year in Judaism. On this day forgiveness of sins is also asked of God. Jew tries to amend his or her behavior and seek forgiveness for wrongs done against God and against other human beings. At Temple Emanu-El has their "Being a Better Me" (Yom Kippur program for families with children ages 2-12) program for children.
