Woman who died after falling from car in Kailua-Kona identified
A Kona woman who died from injuries after falling Monday evening out of the passenger side of the car she was riding in was identified as Keri Flores, 31.
Police, who responded to a call at 7:41 p.m. Monday, said Flores was a passenger in a 2015 Nissan Sentra headed east on Manawalea Street when she fell out and sustained life-threatening injuries.
Flores, of Kailua-Kona, was taken to Kona Community Hospital and later flown to the Queen’s Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 7:39 a.m. Tuesday.
An autopsy is being performed to determine the cause of death.
