Two men apparently drowned Thursday in separate incidents on Oahu.

Police said an unidentified man died Thursday afternoon in an apparent drowning near the Turtle Bay Resort. Police said the man’s body was found floating in the ocean about 5:25 p.m., and was in his 40s to 50s.

He was in extremely critical condition when he was transported at 5:30 p.m. today to a hospital where he died, an Emergency Medical Services supervisor said.

Police said a 76-year-old man apparently drowned at Hanauma Bay. Police got the call at about 11 a.m. The man was taken to the hospital, where he died.
