Mountain View man was victim of SUV crash
A man who died earlier this week in a one-car accident in Mountain View has been identified as Dino G. Capello by Hawaii County police.
Capello, 54, of Mountain View, was the passenger in an SUV driven by Patrick W. Agcalon, also of Mountain View, which hit a utility pole and a tree, Big Island police said.
Police said the 1999 Honda CR-V sport utility vehicle driven by Agcalon, 36, was traveling east on North Glenwood Road when it ran off the roadway and struck a utility pole and a tree around 3:45 p.m.
Hawaii County police have initiated a negligent-homicide and coroner’s inquest investigation. An autopsy will be performed.
Police believe that speed and alcohol were both factors in the crash.

The work will be done from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. starting Thursday.
