Drivers in the vicinity of Kealahou and Kahului Street in Kalama Valley are being advised to use alternate routes due to a water main break this afternoon.

Board of Water Supply crews are repairing the main; the work has resulted in the partial closure of the makai bound lane of Kealahou Street between Kahului Street and Olowalu Place. As a result of the closure, makai-bound traffic is being diverted onto Kahului Street. The mauka bound lane will remain open at this time. Special duty police officers are assisting with traffic control.

Six customers are affected. A water wagon will be positioned to provide water
