Man pulled from water in critical condition
A 63-year-old man was taken to a local trauma center in critical condition after a near-drowning incident at Waikiki Beach on Saturday afternoon.
According to an Emergency Medical Services report, the man was found face down in the water. He was pulled ashore, where Ocean Safety personnel performed CPR until paramedics arrived.
The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m.
Woman allegedly uses car to attack 2
Police arrested a 34-year-old Waianae woman who allegedly tried to run over two people during an argument in Nanakuli on Saturday morning.
According to police, the woman threatened a 41-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, then attempted to run over the man and a 35-year-old woman with her vehicle.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder, first-degree terroristic threatening, possession of an electronic gun and driving without a license.
Victim is shot in hand during altercation
Police arrested a 46-year-old Waianae man who allegedly shot another man in the hand during an altercation on Friday evening.
The 34-year-old victim was transported by paramedics to a local trauma center in stable condition.
The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. in Waianae.
The suspect fled, but was located nearby and arrested on suspicion on second-degree attempted murder.
Salt Lake suspect charged in sex assault
Police have charged a 25-year-old Salt Lake man with sexually assaulting a 20-year-old woman last month.
The assault allegedly occurred in an unknown location around 4:30 a.m. June 29.
Justin Samoa was arrested Thursday and charged Friday with first-degree sexual assault. His bail was set at $50,000.
