Amund Gismervik’s assortment of dives proved strong enough to compete on a national level last season. Even so, he’s always looking to add another twist to his repertoire.
"There are some dives Iwant to learn, some harder dives to improve my list," Gismervik said.
"I’m not quite there but I’m working toward it and want to start competing with some of those more difficult dives to have potential to get even higher scores."
Gismervik, who represented Norway at the 2012 Olympic Games, is among UH’s top returnees after being named MPSF Diver of the Year and earning All-America honors last season.
Gismervik begins his junior year with two tough tests as the Rainbow Warriors open the season against defending national champion California on Friday in Berkley. UH then faces Stanford on Saturday.
