Firefighters bring Haleiwa brush fire under control
Firefighters brought a brush fire in Haleiwa under control Thursday in less than an hour.
The fire burned about two acres near the Twin Bridges Road mauka of the Robert P. Leong Highway.
Fire Capt. Robert Main said the fire began at 8:28 p.m. and was under control at 9:20 p.m.
Four engines and one tanker responded.
No one was injured and no structures were threatened.
The cause is undetermined, Main said.
