Boy found unresponsive at Ko Olina lagoon
A 5-year-old boy was found unresponsive at Ko Olina lagoon No. 2 Saturday, according to an Emergency Medical Services report. The incident happened around 11:56 a.m. at 92-161 Waipahe Place, and the boy was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
Second-story fall injures toddler in Mililani
A 21-month-old boy was in serious condition after falling Saturday from the second story of a condo home in Mililani, according to an Emergency Medical Services report. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
He fell at 12:15 p.m. at a Keaoopua Street residence.
Waianae man may face criminal charges
A 20-year-old Waianae man who allegedly attacked a police officer at the Kapolei Police Station could face additional criminal charges. Officers initially arrested the suspect on suspicion of assault in Waianae and was in police custody when he allegedly attacked a 41-year-old police officer Thursday afternoon at the Kapolei station. The officer was treated at a hospital and released.
An additional charge of first-degree assault of a law enforcement officer could be filed against the suspect.
