Police release video in morning convenience store robbery
Police have released a video and are seeking the public’s help in locating two men wanted in the Friday morning robbery of a Palolo mom-and-pop grocery store in which the owners were injured.
Police said at about 7:35 a.m. two males entered the Valley Market located at 2402 10th Ave., brandishing weapons. They assaulted the male owner with a weapon and physically assaulted the female. Both suspects fled in a light-colored SUV.
The owners were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Emergency Medical Services transported by ambulance a 64-year-old man was seriously injured and a 49-year-old woman had minor injuries after they were assaulted and received multiple injuries.
CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department have asked for the public’s help in locating the two males, releasing a video of the suspects.
