Maui prosecutors charged a 26-year-old man with the stabbing of a 64-year-old Lahaina woman over the weekend.
Jacobs Khoi Duong Duy, of Lahaina, was being held on $250,000 bail after he was charged Sunday night with second-degree attempted murder.
Police arrested Duy Saturday night, following the 9:04 p.m. stabbing.
An ambulance took the woman to the Maui Memorial Medical Center in critical condition.
