Second suspect arrested in Kapolei robbery, hit-and-run case
Police arrested the second suspect in a weekend robbery and hit-and-run case, which sent a 21-year-old woman to the hospital with serious injuries.
Officers arrested a 29-year-old homeless man in Waianae on suspicion of first degree robbery Sunday afternoon.
Police said the man and a 30-year-old homeless woman, arrested Sunday at the Kapolei police station, took the 21-year-old woman’s property and fled in a vehicle.
The woman pursued the suspects and was injured trying to recover her property.
Police arrested the 30-year-old woman on suspicion of first-degree robbery, failure to render aid and fleeing the scene of an accident.
The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition, police said.
