The festival celebrating one of Hawaii’s favorite foods is back. The 13th Annual Waikiki SPAM Jam is taking over Kalakaua Avenue from 4 to 10 p.m. Saturday.
More than a dozen restaurants will have items (with and without Spam) for hungry visitors. The Spam menu includes Spam and Fresh Ahi Katsu with Wasabi Curry and Fresh Mango Salsa (Chai’s Waikiki); Spam fries, cheesecake and bread pudding (Eggs ‘N Things); and Spamac and Cheese Balls and Spam cupcakes (Hard Rock Cafe). Also available: the grand prize in the Great American SPAM Championship, Reuben Spam Rollups (Hula Grill Waikiki).

Foodfest benefits Star of the Sea
Star of the Sea Church and School’s annual Food and Wine Festival returns 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
Enjoy dishes from Agu Ramen, Da Spot Health Foods & Juices, JJ’s French Bistro, Kona Brewing Co., Maile’s Thai Bistro and many other restaurants. The event also includes entertainment and keiki rides and games.
