Utah State is listing two true freshman quarterbacks who have one game of experience — and no starts — between them atop its depth chart for Saturday’s game with the University of Hawaii.

Kent Myers, who has attempted five passes (completing three) and DJ Nelson, who has yet to throw a pass, are listed Nos. 1 and 2 on the depth chart released Monday due to injuries to other players.

USU (5-3, 2-1 Mountain West) claims to be, "the only team in the nation that currently lists two true freshmen on its depth chart at quarterback."

Preseason Heisman Trophy candidate Chuckie Keeton is out for the season with a knee injury after playing three games.

Backup Darrell Garretson started four games before suffering a wrist injury and was scheduled for surgery.

Last week the former No. 3 QB, Craig Harrison, suffered a knee injury in his first start and might be lost for the season.

Coach Matt Wells told a campus press conference Monday, Harrison "(is) out this week, and it could be some time. I just don’t think it’s fair to the kid’s family to comment on it until you know for sure."

Asked which quarterbacks will make the trip to Aloha Stadium, Wells said, "Kent Myers will, DJ Nelson will and I don’t know after that. We’ll probably take Chuckie so he can help mentor those young puppies."

UH (2-6, 1-2) has lost two backup quarterbacks, Taylor Graham (foot) and Jeremy Higgins (wrist), to season-ending injuries.
