A retrospective art exhibit and a gala featuring seven of the state’s top chefs will mark the 10th anniversary of ProjectFocus Hawaii, which uses photography to help at-risk youth gain perspective about their lives.
The event — Three Hundred and Sixty Degrees — will run from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at 445 Cooke St. in Kakaako. Valet parking will be available.
The exhibit will feature photos by more than 40 children who participated in the program. Many of the children, now adults, will attend and share their stories.
Participating chefs include Fred DeAngelo of Ola, Russell Siu of 3660 on the Rise, Alan Takasaki of Le Bistro, Leighton Miyakawa of Ruth’s Chris, Hardy Kintscher of Michel’s, Rodney Uyehara of HASR Bistro and Elmer Guzman of Chef Elmer Guzman’s Island Cuisine and Poke Stop.
Tickets are $95. For reservations and information, call 224-5995 or go online to www.projectfocushawaii.com.
