Sailboat runs aground on Kauai
A sailboat went aground at Moloa’a Bay in North Kauai.
Moloa’a Fruit Stand salesperson Brandi Kaui said the sailboat went aground Friday. “It’s right on the reef,” she said.
Kaui said she hopes someone does something about the wreck. “I hope they don’t leave it on the beach,” she said. “It’s going to leave so much rubbish, opal on the ocean.”
The state boating division on Kauai was unavailable for comment.
