Witnesses, information sought on fatal stabbing in Waipahu
Police are looking for witnesses or anyone with information about the stabbing of a 28-year-old Waipahu man early Monday morning.
Police said the man was attacked at 12:25 a.m. Monday by unknown males on Pupupuhi Street. The man was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center, where he died shortly after arrival.
The city Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as MC Eis.

Afternoon accident in Wahiawa injures pedestrian and driver
A 56-year-old pedestrian was critically injured when he was struck by a vehicle in Wahiawa on Tuesday afternoon.
A police dispatch supervisor said the accident occurred on Glen Avenue near Kolekole Drive.
Emergency Medical Services paramedics treated and transported the man in critical condition and a 25-year-old male driver in serious condition to a hospital after the 3:45 p.m. collision, an EMS report said.
Hanauma Bay victim identified; drowning deemed cause of death
The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office identified the 42-year-old visitor from Maryland who drowned while snorkeling at Hanauma Bay on Sunday as Sangjoon Kim.
The medical examiner listed the cause of death as drowning.
Lifeguards brought Kim, of Baltimore, to shore at 10:13 a.m. Sunday and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation until paramedics arrived. An ambulance took him in critical condition to Straub Clinic & Hospital, where he died.
