Maui firefighters rescued a 34-year-old woman who fell 15 feet from a rocky ledge near Kapalua Bay on Saturday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 3:37 p.m. near the Cliff House, north of Kapalua Bay.

Arriving fire rescue personnel found the woman unconscious with injuries to her head and arms. They strapped the woman to a backboard and carried her to a landing zone established on a nearby residential lawn.

She was flown via Medevac to Maui Memorial Medical Center in serious condition.
