Board of Water Supply crews completed repairs on a 12-inch water main break at 904 Waiakamilo Road between King Street and Alokele Street in Kalihi Wednesday night and reopened the road.
Crews repaired a broken valve on the pipe Wednesday afternoon and repaired and reopened the roadway by about 11:30 p.m.
The repair work closed makai-bound lanes on Waiakamilo Road between King Street and Alokele Street. Service was restored to six customers affected by the break.
The Board of Water Supply reported the leak at about 5:45 a.m.
