Hawaii island Food Basket floor manager Joann Abiley on Monday looked over some cases of juice as a pallet of ice was delivered for people still struggling with the aftermath of Tropical Storm Iselle. Since Iselle, the food bank has distributed more than 5,000 pounds of food to more than 3,000 families — twice the normal volume of both food and clients, Abiley said. “We can always use saimin, canned soups — that’s always good.”
