Rachel Toliver enjoyed a weekend of school and personal bests during her stay in Seattle.
The sophomore set the Rainbow Wahine track and field program’s indoor record in the 200 meters with a time of 25.19 seconds last Friday in the Husky Classic.
She passed the mark of 25.31 set by Ashley Satterwhite in 2012 and now owns two of the program’s top four times in the event. Her season best of 25.59 last year ranked third in UH’s record book until last week.
She followed up on Saturday by placing second in the triple jump with a leap of 39-10. Toliver, who finished sixth at the Big West outdoor championship last year, set a personal best for the second straight meet and moved into third in program history.
The Rainbow Wahine host the Terry Albritton Invitational on Saturday as a final tune-up heading into the MPSF Indoor Championships Feb. 27-28 again in Seattle.
