Aliviado homers in UH baseball win over alumni

Hawaii's Kaeo Aliviado trots home after a two-run homer in the fourth inning of the 2015 Hawaii baseball alumni game on Saturday

Kaeo Aliviado hit a two-run homer and had three hits and Stephen Ventimilia went 5-for-6 with a double, triple and two runs scored as Hawaii defeated the alumni team 10-0 on Saturday afternoon at Les Murakami Stadium.

Tyler Brashears, who is expected to start opening night next Friday against Oregon, struck out five in seven shutout innings, allowing two hits. 

Jacob Sheldon-Collins added two hits and two runs scored for the Rainbow Warriors.

Austin Wobrock and Kevin Fujii each singled for the alumni team.

Current St. Louis Cardinals second baseman Kolten Wong attended the game but didn’t play. He threw out the ceremonial first pitch.
