Police looking for suspect in Zippy’s robbery

Yellow police tape blocked the entrance to the Zippy's restaurant on Kapahulu Boulevard as police investigated an armed robbery Thursday morning.
Honolulu police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery of the Zippy’s restaurant on Kapahulu Avenue Thursday morning.
Police said the robbery happened at about 5 a.m.
Officers investigating the robbery remained on scene for several hours after the incident and yellow police tape blocked the entrance to the restaurant during what would normally be a busy breakfast period.
No injuries were reported and no arrests were made.
