A fallen tree closed Diamond Head Road between Leahi Beach Park and Coconut Road and caused a power outage.
About 300 customers were without electricity until about 7 a.m., when crews restored power to all but about 30 customers, a Hawaiian Electric Co. spokesman said.
The remaining customers won’t get service back until city crews remove the large tree.
Police reported the road closure at about 2:30 a.m.
