THIS WEEK’S SYNOPSES

"Family Is Coming"
Episodes 1 and 2

Sunday, 6:30 p.m.: Audrey Jung (Keut-soon) is finally going back to Korea after 50 years. During those 50 years, it seems that she’s managed to save quite a bit of money. She’s returning to give it to her children, Dal-su and Dal-ja, whom she abandoned 50 years ago. Dal-su cosigns a bad loan and is about to lose his house. Scared of his wife, he stays away. His son, Dong-seok, was an academic genius who won’t get a proper job. His lackadaisical attitude drives his mother, Jeong-suk, crazy. Dal-su’s son-in-law gets into financial problems, too. His family ends up at Dal-su’s for help. Jun-hui, while pretending to be an attorney, tries to get in Audrey’s good graces. What Audrey doesn’t know is that her adopted son, James, and Jun-hui are siblings trying to steal her inheritance.

Sunday, 7:45 p.m.: The whole family gushes over Keut-soon once they find out she has $20 million to give them. Jun-hui goes to Dong-seok’s house to get her watch back, but finds Keut-soon there too. Both Keut-soon and Jun-hui are invited to stay with the family.

"Punch"
Episodes 9 and 10

Monday, 7:45 p.m.: Kang-jae tells Yeon-jin Jung-hwan has only months to live, and asks her to tell him of Jung-hwan’s plans. Jung-hwan and Ha-kyong arrest Tae-joon’s sister-in-law for tax evasion. Cornered, Tae-joon asks Yoon Ji-sook for help.

Tuesday, 7:45 p.m.: Tae-joon is desperate after Jung-hwan comes clean. He decides to give up on Ocean Capital and exposes the corruption himself. Kang-jae becomes a national hero for exposing Ocean Capital corruption, and Tae-joon gets an even loftier dream when he gains people’s support.

"Pinocchio"
Episodes 19 and 20 (final episode)

Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Cha-ok confesses to media manipulation under Chairwoman Park’s orders during a police investigation. Chairwoman Park is subpoenaed but she evades it. In-ha pretends his injured arm is not healed.

Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Bum-jo turns himself in, taking the rap for his mother’s crimes. Chairwoman Park finally shows up at the police to save her son. Dal-pyong asks In-ha and Ha-myong to stay as uncle and niece.

"Birth of a Beauty"
Episode 21 (final episode)

Saturday, 7:45 p.m.: Chae-yeon is exposed and is fired from all her shows. Kang-joon tells Tae-hee he’d divorce Sara if he makes him a fake passport, but he secretly sets a trap for Tae-hee.
