Power outage sidelines 2 UH-Manoa buildings
Two buildings at the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus were out of service Wednesday awaiting necessary parts following a power outage.
Summer classes and activities normally held at Bilger Hall and Bilger Addition were relocated.
A switch gear blew in Bilger Hall and Bilger Addition at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, causing a power outage for 12 campus buildings.
The power and air conditioning were restored at 7:15 p.m. to all buildings except for Bilger Hall and Bilger Addition.
School officials said normal activities will continue for the rest of the campus.
Fall classes begin on Aug. 25.
