Hawaii County police warn about bogus raffle ticket sales
Hawaii County police are warning residents about a bogus raffle.
On Thursday, police said a man is offering bogus raffle tickets he claims are from a seed shop in Hilo.
The man has been approaching shoppers in parking lot in the Puna District and asking them for a $5 donation for a raffle ticket, police said.
Police said the seed shop is not offering raffle tickets.
Anyone with information about the raffle tickets is asked to call police at 935-3311.
