Firefighters bring Kuhio Avenue hotel fire under control
Firefighters brought a two-alarm fire under control Wednesday night at the Kuhio Banyan Hotel in Waikiki.
Firefighters responded to the 7:36 p.m. alarm and were on scene at 7:41 p.m. at 2310 Kuhio Ave.
Eight companies and 35 firefighters responded to the second-floor blaze.
The fire was declared under control. at 7:58 p.m., fire Capt. David Jenkins said.
