Man critically injured after Honolulu shooting
Honolulu police arrested a 33-year-old man, with no local address, after a shooting in Downtown Honolulu early Sunday morning.
Police said two groups of people got into a confrontation and most of them had left the scene.
But the suspect returned, confronted a 24-year-old man and shot him at about 1:15 a.m., police said.
Paramedics took the man to the hospital in critical condition with a gunshot wound in the back from 80 South Pauahi Street, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.
Responding officers arrested the suspect near 1212 Nuuanu Avenue at 1:20 a.m.
