City Hall will be lit in blue at night throughout the week to raise awareness of issues related to domestic violence and sexual assault.

Mayor Kirk Caldwell proclaimed "NO MORE Week" in support of a national effort to engage communities in taking action.

"Domestic violence and sexual assault have devastating impacts on the lives of individuals, families and entire communities," Caldwell said.

"We must do more to address this problem. Initiatives such as NO MORE Week provide a powerful platform to amplify awareness of domestic and sexual violence, and better leverage the resources available to assist … survivors."
