Hawaii Hilo women rout Holy Names

McKenzie Mangino finished with 11 points and 14 rebounds as the Hawaii Hilo women’s basketball team beat Holy Names 61-42 on Thursday at Hilo Civic. The Vulcans improved to 9-14 overall and 8-11 in the PacWest. The Hawks dropped to 2-25 and 1-18.

» Brydgette Tatupu-Leopoldo scored 20 points and Celeste Claw added 18 as Brigham Young-Hawaii beat Academy of Art 92-89 at the Cannon Activities Center. The Seasiders improved to 15-11, 12-8 PacWest. The Urban Knights fell to 17-10, 12-7.

» Lilia Maio had 23 points and 18 rebounds and Katie Buskey added 22 points, but Chaminade lost 86-80 in overtime to Dominican at McCabe Gym. The Penguins improved to 12-12, 9-9 PacWest; the Silverswords fell to 7-15, 7-11.
