» The American Pet Products Association reports that Americans spent $58 billion on their pets in 2014, not $58 million as was reported in a Page B5 headline Monday.

» Waianae High School alumnus Calvin Domen’s most recent project to help his alma mater was to plant and care for coconut trees on the coastline next to the school’s football field. Fifteen years ago he led an effort to renovate the school’s bleachers after he heard that the school planned to move its graduation ceremony to Aloha Stadium. A Sunday Page B1 article confused his two volunteer projects.

» The headline on Alex Fergus’ letter to the editor about real estate investment trusts on Page A17 Friday should have read "Make REITs pay proper taxes," not "property taxes." REITs are exempt from Hawaii income taxes, not real property taxes.
