Marcia and Michael Shiraki of Honolulu took in the sights in San Ramon, Calif., this summer, including the Kilohana Grill. Hawaii transplants Myron and Pam Kashima opened the restaurant in 2003 and serve traditional island-style plate lunches — all with a couple of scoops of rice, of course. The Shirakis’ son-in-law, Sam, snapped the couple’s photo out front.
