Suspect arrested for alleged assault on officer
A 20-year-old man allegedly struck a woman patrol officer in Kalihi Wednesday night.
Police arrested the suspect on suspicion of first-degree assault on a law enforcement officer.
The officer responded to a report of an argument at 7:20 p.m. when the suspect allegedly struck the officer. He was initially arrested on a trespasss charge.
