See designer’s line at ‘Classique’ show
Designer Jeanie Chun will present her final collection during the benefit fashion show "La Mode Classique II" Saturday at The Royal Hawaiian hotel’s Monarch Room.
Presented by the Chinese Women’s Club of Honolulu, the show will feature Chun’s sophisticated take on day-to-night fashion, from sportswear to formal attire.
The day will open with a silent auction starting at 9 a.m., with lunch at 11:30 a.m. followed by the fashion show.

Encourage literacy, score shopping deal
Eden in Love has moved to a new location in the Ewa wing of Ward Warehouse and is inviting shoppers to do good, look and feel good, and support literacy all at the same time.
On Saturday, shoppers who donate three children’s books between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. will score 30 percent off their entire purchase at the shop while enjoying milk and cookies on the spot. The Bookies+Cookies event is the boutique’s quarterly Divas Doing Good project; all books will be donated to Friends of the Library.

Nonprofits welcome to join giving event
Windward Mall invites nonprofits to participate in its 10th annual Festival of Giving Nov. 7-9.
Participating organizations can keep 100 percent of the proceeds from $10 ticket sales that give ticket-holders access to a weekend of store discounts, dining specials, door prizes and entertainment while supporting their favorite nonprofit.
In the Festival of Giving’s 10-year history, nonprofits have been able to raise more than $750,000. Last year, approximately 50 participating nonprofit organizations raised more than $157,000 to support their community work.
Nonprofits can sign up through Oct. 13.

Pets strut their stuff during Woman Expo
The "Celebrities and Their Pets" fashion show will be among the events taking place at the Hawai’i Woman Expo Saturday and Sunday at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.
The expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the celebrities taking to the catwalk with their pets at 12:30 p.m. both days. The pets will be dressed in designer outfits from The Pet Corner at Ward Warehouse.
The fashion show presenters aim to raise awareness of pet adoptions and encourage volunteerism at the Oahu SPCA and fostering of dogs and cats.
Admission to the Hawai’i Woman Expo is $3.
Also happening at the expo: "The Most Beautiful Man" contest will take place at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
Peruse vintage sale at Wai’oli Tea Room
Wai’oli Tea Room will host the Vintage Rose and Friends sale Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring vintage fashion, linen, lace, estate jewelry and more.
Beyond textiles and accessories, housewares will include English teacups, porcelain, shabby-chic furnishings and garden antiques.
Wai’oli Tea Room is at 2950 Manoa Road. Admission and parking are free.
