Woman arrested after police-involved shooting is charged
Police charged with a misdemeanor a 42-year-old Halawa woman who was a passenger in a stolen car driven by a 52-year-old man shot and killed Wednesday by police in Pearl City.
Evette Hilongo was arrested 2:40 a.m. at 2168 Komo Mai Drive in Pacific Palisades for second-degree unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.
Hilongo was charged with that offense, and her bail was set at $500.
