Woman charged with ransacking Waikiki home
Prosecutors charged a 40-year-old Mililani woman Thursday for allegedly breaking into and ransacking a Waikiki home.
Monica Hayes was charged with first-degree burglary for the Wednesday afternoon break-in.
Police said a couple living there discovered the woman.
Police said the 33-year-old male resident detained the woman until police arrived.
Hayes’ bail was set at $30,000.
