Authorities in Hawaii to step up Super Bowl patrols
Authorities across the state of Hawaii are stepping up patrols on Super Bowl Sunday to look for drivers under the influence.
KITV reports that police plan to set up checkpoints in all four counties throughout the big game weekend.
The organization, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, wants people to know police have patrols out looking for motorists who drink and drive.
The DUI enforcement effort is part of a national campaign called, "Fans Don’t Let Fans Drive Drunk."
