Comedian Augie T made good on his promise to make fun of the scarcity of Bruno Mars concert tickets at his "Laugh for Relief" fundraising concert. Though not a singer, Augie put his heart into special lyrics to Mars’ "Just the Way You Are," singing, "I no mo’ tickets, you no mo’ tickets, we no mo’ tickets … for Bruno Mars," appeasing disappointed fans unable to score face-value ducats to the year’s most sought-after show.
Augie coupled with comedian buddy Rex Navarrete to raise funds for victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
Not one to remain idle, Augie now is prepping for his annual Mother’s Day brunch show May 11 in the Manoa Grand Ballroom at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii. Tickets are $55 for adults, $30 for children, available at augiet.com. …

ITEMIZATIONS: Now that "Hawaii Five-0" is pau with fourth-season filming, co-star Scott Caan (Danny "Danno" Williams) is focusing on films. First, he’s replaced Shia LaBeouf in Barry Levinson‘s "Rock the Kasbah," starring Bill Murray, Bruce Willis and Kate Hudson; Caan plays a con man in the tale of a botched USO tour in Afghanistan. …
Danno’s also reuniting with his HBO "Entourage" cast for a film version of the show, which picks up the story sixth months after the eight-season run ended in 2011. Original players aboard include Jeremy Piven, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Dillon and Debi Mazar, with Billy Bob Thornton and Haley Joel Osment joining the roster.
Caan’s showbiz creds also expanded this year when his contemporary comedy, "Two Wrongs," played at the Ocean City Center for the Arts in Maryland. …
TUBE TALK: Being on TV is old hat for Emme Tomimbang, longtime host of "Emme’s Island Moments." But who knew she made an appearance as a young fan of the British group Dave Clark Five on PBS in London? While a Korlette at KORL Radio, Tomimbang was part of a group of local DC5 fans, circa 1964, and a friendship endured with group leader Clark. He tapped her to help him with a TV special, "The Dave Clark Five and Beyond — Glad All Over," airing at 8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 p.m. Friday on PBS, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the British music invasion in America.
"Funny how life comes full circle," Tomimbang says. "Some people recently posted (online) me playing on the drums — my life began as a drummer with Dave Clark’s drumsticks." If you blink, you’ll miss her on the TV special. …
