Waikele Premium Outlets hosts summer holiday sale
Summer’s barbecue, beach and leisure time may call for lightening up your wardrobe. Waikele Premium Outlets will make it easier to shop with its Fourth of July summer sale.
From July 3 to 6, shoppers will receive extra discounts on top of the center’s savings of 25 percent to 65 percent off everyday prices.

Snap up limited-edition kicks at J. Crew Ala Moana
Honolulu is one of only eight cities selected to launch J. Crew’s limited-edition men’s sneaker in collaboration with New Balance: the New Balance for J. Crew 998 Independence Day.
The sneaker, in red, white and blue, is made with a premium Abzorb foam sole for cushioned comfort.

Designers invited to join Made in Hawaii boutique
The Made in Hawaii Festival is seeking designers to participate in a Hawai’i Fashion Exchange, aka HFX, boutique Aug. 15 to 17 at the Blaisdell Center. There is space for up to eight emerging Hawaii-based designers who have yet to participate in the festival.
The discounted cost is $300 for Hifi (Hawai’i Fashion Incubator) professional members or $350 for nonmembers, membership included. (The usual fee for Made in Hawaii is $650.) Participation includes a yearlong HFX membership (a $250 value) with opportunities to show and sell during Hawaii Fashion Month in November.
Applications must be submitted by Tuesday.
