OCCC inmate arrested after failing to return from work furlough

Police have arrested Oahu Community Correctional Center inmate who failed to return to the facility from a work furlough program on Tuesday evening.
Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Toni Schwartz said inmate Justin Kondo was arrested Wednesday afternoon after failing to return to the OCCC at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Kondo is serving time for first-degree burglary and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle. His parole hearing is scheduled for July 15.
