"Hawaii Five-0" began filming its longest season ever, a 25-episode marathon, with hugs and photos at a blessing ceremony in the parking lot of the Honolulu Zoo on Tuesday morning.

Cast members Alex O’Loughlin, Daniel Dae Kim, Grace Park and Jorge Garcia, along with executive producer Peter Lenkov and other cast and crewmembers were part of the ceremony.

Even though the show is in its fifth season, "it’s not old hat," said Kim.

Lenkov promised fans that they would see an Oahu like they’ve never seen before this year.

Lenkov is hoping to get Hawaii golfer Michelle Wie as a guest star.

None of the principal stars are part of Tuesday’s filming in Waikiki, which is actually for the third episode.
