Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Marcus Mariota has signed with Rep 1 Sports as his agent, the family announced Tuesday.

Mariota, who led Oregon to last month’s national championship final, is expected to be a high first-round pick in the NFL Draft (April 30-May 2).

Rep 1 is an Irvine, Calif.-based firm that also represents quarterbacks Ben Roethlisberger and Blake Bortles among more than a dozen NFL clients.

Alana Deppe-Mariota, Marcus’ mother, said her son felt Rep 1 was the “best fit” for him and liked the “family focus.”

The firm is headed by Bruce Tollner, a former Buffalo Bills executive, and his brother Ryan. They are the sons of former USC, San Diego State and NFL coach Ted Tollner.

Mariota has been training in California in preparation for the NFL Combine next week (Feb. 17-23) in Indianapolis.
