Jewelry collection marks St. Patrick’s
Nalukai Collection has introduced a limited-edition St. Patrick’s Day collection, available online and at Global Village, 539 Kailua Road.
The St. Patrick’s Day collection features a handcrafted heart pendant wishing its wearer "Health & Happiness" in the Hawaiian language on one side and Gaelic on the other. The pendant was created by Nalukai designer Tricia McCarthy to celebrate and combine her Irish roots and Hawaii where her home and heart are rooted.
The pendants are made of sterling silver, and are also available in a rose or yellow gold finish, for $150.
Also part of Nalukai’s St. Patrick’s Day collection are limited-edition cuff links ($275) of sterling silver, finished with green enamel. The cuff links were inspired by McCarthy’s father, Patrick, in honor of his namesake holiday.
McCarthy says she created the jewelry collection to honor the strength, courage and spirit of breast cancer survivors, such as her sister-in-law, Laura.
