>> Kalei Contrades, Saint Louis ’11: The San Jose State junior allowed four hits and one walk in 22/3 shutout innings with four strikeouts in a 7-0 loss to Washington in the Jack Gifford Tournament. Contrades earned his first save of the season, pitching 11/3 shutout innings with a strikeout in a 4-3 win over UC Davis on Sunday.
>> Scott Peters, Punahou ’11: The Cal Lutheran left-hander threw two shutouts last week, ending with a five-hitter in seven innings in a 16-0 win over Redlands on Saturday. Four days earlier, Peters tossed a four-hitter in nine innings in a 6-0 win over Chapman (Calif.).
>> Jensen Park, ‘Iolani ’11: The Northern Colorado outfielder hit a home run in his season debut on Saturday after recovering from back surgery and finished 4-for-14 with two runs and two RBIs in a four-game split against North Dakota State over the weekend.
>> Kaden Kamoe, Saint Louis ’10: The Cal State Monterey Bay outfielder went 4-for-13 with a double, home run, two runs and two RBIs as the Otters won three of four against San Francisco State.
MEN’S BASKETBALL
>> Brandon Bautista, Kohala ’10: The Oregon Tech junior guard was named to the Cascade Collegiate Conference Red Lion All-Conference team last Wednesday. Bautista averaged 10.1 points per game and was 12th in the NAIA with 164 total assists, just over five per game.
>> Nick Demusis, Mililani ’09: The Whittier (Calif.) junior guard was named second team All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference last Wednesday. Demusis finished fifth in the conference, averaging 16.8 points per game on 46.6-percent shooting from the field. He also shot 81.8 percent from the free-throw line, which was fourth in the SCIAC.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
>> Kylie Maeda, ‘Iolani ’12: The Brigham Young sophomore nailed three 3-pointers and finished with 12 points, three steals, two assists and a rebound in a 77-64 win over Pacific (Calif.) in the semifinals of the West Coast Conference tournament on Monday. BYU lost in Tuesday’s final to Gonzaga.
>> Hailey Ann Maeda, Punahou ’11: The Whitman (Wash.) sophomore grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds to go with seven points and a steal in 23 minutes of a 73-67 win over Whitworth (Wash.) in the second round of the NCAA Division III tournament on Saturday. The Missionaries will host a sectional round next Friday and need two home wins to advance to the national semifinals.
>> Milika Taufa, Lahainaluna ’10: The Indiana senior had eight points and a rebound in 14 minutes of her final collegiate game, an 82-57 loss to Michigan in the first round of the Big Ten tournament on Thursday.
>> Keaton McFadden, Mid-Pacific ’10: The Portland State senior had six points, two rebounds and an assist in a 79-64 loss to Idaho State on Saturday in the Vikings’ regular-season finale.
WOMEN’S GYMNASTICS
>> Jenna Frowein, Punahou ’12: The Stanford sophomore finished fifth on the floor exercise (9.825) in a loss to No. 4 Alabama on Friday.
>> Randi Lau, Thompson Academy ’11: The Penn State junior finished third on the floor exercise and fourth on both the vault and the beam with an identical score of 9.875 in all three events in a quad meet win over New Hampshire, Bridgeport and George Washington.
>> Tiana Montell, St. Joseph’s ’11: The UC Davis junior scored a 9.725 on the floor exercise, a 9.700 on the beam and a 9.525 on the vault to help the Aggies finish second in a tri-meet against Sacramento State and Alaska Anchorage on Friday.
>> Mackenzie Sato, ‘Iolani ’10: The Cornell senior scored a 9.250 on the floor exercise in a loss to William & Mary on Saturday.
>> Kristi Hayashida, Christian Education Institute ’13: The Seattle Pacific freshman earned a 9.725 on the floor exercise and a 9.225 on the beam in a loss to Boise State on Saturday.

>> Mysha Sataraka, Punahou ’12: The UCLA sophomore hit .353 (6-for-17) with four homers, five walks, six runs scored and seven RBIs to help the Bruins go 6-0 in the UCLA/Cal State Northridge Invitational over the weekend.
>> Angie Yoshizu, University ’10: The Bloomfield (N.J.) shortstop went 4-for-8 with two doubles, a walk, two RBIs and a run scored in a doubleheader sweep of Penn State Hazelton on Saturday.

>> Justin Higa, ‘Iolani ’11: The Puget Sound junior finished second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:10.37) and placed fifth in the 5,000 meters (15:44.24) at the Pacific Lutheran Invitational on Saturday.

>> Taylor Crabb, Punahou ’10: The Long Beach State senior recorded 21 kills and 13 digs against BYU and tallied 14 kills and two aces in a sweep over Cal Baptist on Saturday.
>> Rocky DeLyon, Seabury Hall ’12: The Cal Baptist outside hitter put away 13 kills and posted seven digs in three-set losses to Long Beach State and Cal State Northridge.

>> DJ Wong, Kohala ’12: The Graceland sophomore finished with 57 kills and 32 digs in losses to Emmanuel College, Hope International, Missouri Valley and Park University on Friday and Saturday.
>> Silila Tucker, Kalaheo ’13: The Graceland freshman dished out 132 assists and 29 digs in the Saint Ambrose University Tournament.
>> Chris Roxburgh, Kohala ’12: The Graceland middle blocker put down 22 kills in the four losses.
>> Ryse Dawson, University ’13: The Graceland outside hitter hammered 17 kills in matches against Emmanuel, Hope, and MVC.
MEN’S WRESTLING
>> David Terao, Mid-Pacific ’11: The American University sophomore finished in second place at 125 pounds at the EIWA championships on Sunday and qualified for the 2014 NCAA tournament. The second-seeded Terao lost by a point in the finals to the No. 1 seed.
>> Zack Hernandez, Punahou ’12: The Columbia University sophomore finished in fourth place at the EIWA championships at 184 pounds to qualify for the NCAA tournament. Hernandez won consolation-round matches by scores of 5-2 and 7-2 to finish in the top four.
