Iosefa leads RBs in bench press at NFL combine
Former University of Hawaii running back Joey Iosefa led all running backs in the bench-press test Friday at the National Football League Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
Iosefa benched 225 pounds 30 times, tying for fifth among linemen, tight ends and running backs.
Ereck Flowers, an offensive lineman from Miami, had 37 reps of 225 pounds. Offensive guard Mitch Morse had 36 reps.
Iosefa matched his personal best of 30 reps set while training at UH last year.
He was measured at 5 feet, 11 3/4 inches. He weighed 247 pounds.
Iosefa will compete in the 40-yard dash in Saturday’s testing.

Iosefa is among more than 300 players invited to the combine.
Iosefa has received interest from the Kansas City Chiefs, Washington Redskins, Cincinnati Bengals and Oakland Raiders.
