Police arrest 2 after man’s death in Makiki
Honolulu police homicide detectives are investigating the death Sunday morning of a 30-year-old man.
The city ambulance service received a call of a medical emergency at an address on Metcalf Street in Makiki at 4:32 this morning. The ambulance crew transported the man to an area hospital in critical condition where he later died.
Police said the man was involved in struggle with others in the home during which the man went unresponsive. They said it is not clear whether or not the man lived at the home.
They arrested a 26-year-old Kauai man and an 18-year-old Palolo man at the scene on suspicion second-degree murder.
