Motorcyclist injured after losing control of cycle in H-3 tunnel
A motorcyclist in her late 20s was seriously injured about 2 p.m. Thursday in the H-3 tunnel, the Emergency Medical Services Division reported.
The woman apparently lost control of the motorcycle in the westbound lanes of the H-3 freeway inside the tunnel apparently because of an oily substance on the road, police dispatch said.
EMS transported her by ambulance to a trauma center in serious condition.
Police closed a Halawa-bound lane due to the oily substance on the road.
