A Kalahelo motorcyclist died Wednesday night following a traffic collision near the Kaumualii Highway and Puolo Road junction in Hanapepe.
Police said Brian Cesario, 25, was traveling east on the highway when he collided with a west-bound Ford F-150 truck making a left turn to Puolo Road at about 6:30 p.m.
Cesario died of his injuries at the Kauai Veteran’s Memorial Hospital, police said.
He was not wearing a helmet.
The 71-year-old man driving the Ford pickup suffered minor injuries.
